About this Podcast:
Season 1, Episode 0: “The Making of a CauseGirl”
Welcome to the CauseGirl Podcast! I am your host, Elena Sacca Smith, and I’m so excited that you are here. In this episode we’ll cover everything you need to know about this inspirational podcast – the origin story, the why, what you can expect, and all the good, juicy stuff. Watch out for some BIG name-dropping on my part, but it’s all in the name of learning! In dark times, we really just need a pick-me-up, some lightness in our day, and the opportunity to celebrate and learn from the best female change-makers of our time. As we officially launch the podcast on Oct. 11, UN’s International Day of the Girl, this is in celebration and honor of all CauseGirls past, present and future!
In the first season, we’ll talk whisky, cats, Diet Coke and all forms of self-care in the pandemic. We’ll have a blast exploring how to find greater fulfillment through passion and purpose and why purpose is so important to our livelihoods and overall wellbeing. We’ll discover how to infuse social purpose into the workweek. And last but not least, we’ll hear the secrets to success, words of advice and even favorite causes and quotes from CauseGirls from around the globe so we can take bold action, too!
